The ROOTS Salsa Festival Mainz
It is the result of 20 years of intensive experience in the salsa scene – as a student, performer, dance teacher, instructor, and organizer. With this knowledge, we aim to explore new paths and create a completely new festival experience.
For us, everything starts with a well-thought-out concept. Every decision – from the selection of artists to the program – aligns with our vision: to take you on an inspiring journey, tailored to your level and your needs.
Clear focus instead of chaos:
Our courses are interconnected and build systematically. You will be picked up where you are and gradually introduced to a deeper understanding of dance, musicality, and expression.
A show that offers depth and complexity
Instead of a series of individual choreographies, we create a collective musical.
This program tells the story of salsa and connects dancers, spectators, and artists in a moving experience.
A family-like atmosphere:
People are at the heart of what we do. Artists, participants, and organizers work together as equals, exchanging ideas and creating a family-like atmosphere that welcomes everyone.
