Our Vision
The ROOTS Salsa Events in Mainz
ROOTS was born from more than 20 years of experience in the international salsa scene - as dancers, instructors, and event organizers.
We believe that the most memorable moments are not created on stage, but on the dance floor: through dancing together, sharing experiences, and the connections that naturally emerge.
That is why ROOTS stands for community, passion, and the joy of dancing. Our goal is to create events that bring people together, inspire them, and leave lasting memories.
The ROOTS SALSA MARATHON
The ROOTS Salsa Marathon is another ROOTS event format, alongside our festival, created to bring this vision to life.
From September 4–6, 2026, we welcome dancers from Germany and around the world to our dance school in Mainz. With only 100 available spots, we intentionally create an intimate setting where community and social dancing take center stage.
Look forward to 28 hours of social dancing, international DJs, and a weekend filled with music, connection, and unforgettable moments.
