Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
Salsa Festival Mainz
1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) apply to participation in the Salsa Festival Mainz and regulate the contractual relationships between the festival organizers and participants.
2. Contractual Partners
The contractual partner and organizer of the Salsa Festival Mainz is Ritmovida, Ali Mirzazadeh, Saarstr. 2, 55122 Mainz.
3. Registration and Contract Conclusion
Registration for the Salsa Festival Mainz takes place via the online registration form on the official website. By registering, the participant declares that they have read and accepted the T&Cs. The contract is concluded upon confirmation of registration by the organizers.
4. Participation Fee and Payment
The participation fee is due according to the rates specified at the time of registration. Payment must be made within the agreed deadline. In case of delayed payment, the organizers reserve the right to exclude the participant from the event.
4.1 Installment Payment
The ticket price can be paid in installments, provided the option was selected during booking. The installment payment is subject to a processing fee of up to 8% of the total amount, which is divided among the installments. Installments are due monthly, starting from the booking date (see framework agreement). The full amount must be paid no later than 15th July 2025. In case of late payment, the organizer reserves the right to charge reminder fees and block the ticket until the outstanding amounts are settled. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the organizer's general refund policies.
5. Commitment and Engagement – Performance Group
Participation in the performance group requires a high level of commitment and engagement. Participants agree to attend all training sessions from Wednesday to Saturday and actively participate in the stage performance. Absences must be discussed in advance with the organizers. Repeated absences without a valid reason may result in exclusion from the performance.
6. Cancellation and Withdrawal
Withdrawal from participation must be made in writing. The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Until 15th July 2025: 50% of the participation fee will be refunded only in case of serious illness or another verifiable emergency.
- From 16th July 2025: No refunds, except in case of serious illness or another verifiable emergency.
7. Program Changes
The organizers reserve the right to change the festival program due to unforeseen circumstances. This may include changes to the workshop instructors, times, or location within a 30 km radius. The participant is not entitled to a refund in case of program changes.
8. Liability
Participation in the Salsa Festival Mainz is at the participant's own risk. The organizers do not accept any liability for damages, losses, or injuries occurring during the festival. It is recommended to take out personal accident insurance.
9. Health and Fitness
By registering, the participant confirms that they are physically fit to attend the workshops and dance events. If there are health concerns, the participant should consult a doctor before attending.
10. Photo and Audio Recordings
During the festival, photos, videos, and other recordings may be taken. By registering, the participant agrees that these recordings may be used for marketing purposes by the organizers.
11. Data Protection
The organizers treat all personal data confidentially and in accordance with the privacy policy. The data will only be used for the organization of the festival and will not be shared with third parties.
12. Code of Conduct
Participants are asked to behave respectfully and responsibly toward other participants, artists, and organizers. Inappropriate behavior that interferes with the festival experience of other participants may lead to exclusion from the event.
13. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, war, pandemics), the organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the festival. In such a case, participants will be informed in a timely manner and may, depending on the situation, receive a refund or the option to attend a future event.
14. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
For all legal disputes related to participation in the Salsa Festival Mainz, German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the organizer's registered office.
15. Final Provisions
If any provision of these T&Cs is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The organizer reserves the right to change these T&Cs at any time.
